Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 September 2026
Welcome to Roadtell. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of our website and to any purchase you make from us. By using our store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About us
This store is operated by Roadtell TTS, trading as Roadtell ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at contact@roadtell.com.
2. Using our store
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.
- You agree to give accurate and complete information when you order, including your shipping address and email.
- You agree not to use our store for any unlawful purpose, or to interfere with its security or normal operation.
3. Products
We do our best to describe and show our products accurately, including resolution, field of view, memory card support and power options. Colours and finishes may look slightly different depending on your screen, and packaging may change without notice. Sample footage shown on our store illustrates typical results; real image quality depends on light, weather, speed, distance, windshield condition and camera placement.
Compatibility: it is your responsibility to check that a dash cam, its power cable and any hardwire kit are suitable for your vehicle. If you are unsure, email us before you buy.
4. Installation and safe use
- Mount your dash cam where it does not block your view of the road or interfere with airbags, sensors or driver-assistance cameras, and follow the mounting rules that apply where you drive.
- Do not set up, adjust or watch your dash cam while driving.
- Hardwire kits connect to your vehicle's electrical system. We recommend installation by a qualified person. Parking mode draws power while the engine is off; use a low-voltage cutoff and follow the instructions to protect your vehicle battery.
- Always read and follow the user manual and safety instructions that come with your product.
We are not responsible for damage to your vehicle, battery drain, or injury caused by misuse, incorrect installation or wiring, modification, or failure to follow the instructions.
5. Recording laws and your footage
Laws on dash cams differ between countries and states. Some places restrict where a camera can be mounted, recording audio or passengers, or keeping and publishing footage, and a few countries limit private use of dash cams. You are responsible for using your dash cam lawfully where you drive, including telling passengers when you record inside the vehicle where required, and blurring faces and license plates before sharing footage publicly where the law requires it. We cannot guarantee that footage will be accepted as evidence by any insurer, court or authority.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in the currency selected in our store and may change at any time. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
- Shipping is free on all orders, worldwide. Any import duties or taxes are handled as described in our Shipping Policy.
- Payment is taken when you place your order, through our secure payment providers.
- If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
7. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship your order and send you a shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, or if the order information is incomplete. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.
8. Shipping, returns, refunds and warranty
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Returns, replacements, refunds and warranty claims are covered by our Refund and Return Policy. Both policies are part of these Terms.
9. Reviews and content you send us
If you send us a review, photo, video or other content, you confirm that it is your own, honest and lawful, and that you have the right to share any people, vehicles or places shown in it. You give us permission to use, reproduce and display it on our store and social media in connection with Roadtell. We may remove content at our discretion.
10. Intellectual property
All content on our store, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of our store or products, including loss of recordings, a missed recording, or the outcome of any accident, insurance claim or legal dispute. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Your consumer rights
These Terms do not affect the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country. If any part of these Terms conflicts with those laws, the law prevails.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of EUA, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when these Terms were last changed.
